New Parent Harmony Community Collective

Support should be within reach.

The Community Collective is an initiative of New Parent Harmony, being built to help make postpartum, feeding, infant sleep, education and community support more accessible to families who may otherwise face financial barriers.

Community support, grants, sponsorships and partnerships come together here so families can receive professional care, education and connection as funding and availability grow.

The model

How the Collective Comes Together

This is a community-funded way to expand access — still growing, and shaped by the people who take part.

  1. 1

Community support, grants, sponsorships and partnerships

Local businesses, organizations, grant funders and neighbors invest in family wellbeing.

  2. 2

    The Community Collective

New Parent Harmony uses those resources to offer professional postpartum and parent support.

  3. 3

    More accessible support for families

Education, connection and care become easier to reach as funding and availability allow.

Support

How We Help

  • Postpartum Support

Practical, nurturing daytime postpartum support to help families recover, rest and adjust to life with a new baby.

  • Feeding Support

Individualized feeding and lactation education to help families feel informed, supported and confident.

  • Education & Virtual Support

Virtual postpartum guidance, sleep support, parent education and workshops that can extend the Collective’s reach beyond our local community.

  • Connection & Community

Support groups, educational events, community programs and connections to trusted resources during the postpartum period.

The process

How Collective Support Works

  1. Step 1: Tell us what you need

Complete a short Request Support form and tell us a little about your family and the type of support that would help.

  2. Step 2: We review what’s available

Requests are considered in the order received. We look at current Collective funding, New Parent Harmony’s availability and our ability to provide the support requested.

  3. Step 3: We find an option that works

Depending on available resources, support may be fully funded, partially funded, offered at a temporary reduced New Parent Harmony rate, or provided through free or reduced-cost community programming.

  4. Step 4: Support begins

If we’re able to help, we’ll talk with you about what’s available and create a plan for your family.

No complicated paperwork. No competition over who needs help most.

Families shouldn’t have to prove that their circumstances are harder than someone else’s to ask for support.

You can tell us when the regular cost of services creates a barrier. Financial documentation generally isn’t required unless a specific grant or funding program requires it.

What we can offer depends on available funding, resources and provider availability.

More Than Individual Care

The Community Collective isn’t only about reducing the cost of private services.

As it grows, we hope to create more opportunities for families to connect through free and reduced-cost workshops, postpartum education, support groups, community events and local partnerships.

The aim is stronger families and a stronger postpartum community — built over time, with community support.

Partnership

Help Expand Access

When a community invests in families during the postpartum season, those families are stronger.

Grants, sponsorships and partnerships can help fund professional postpartum care, feeding support, educational programs and community initiatives. Families receive support, and the professionals providing that care are compensated for their work.

  • Sponsor Care

Help fund professional support for families experiencing barriers to accessing services.

  • Fund Education

Support workshops, groups and educational programs that can reach multiple families at once.

  • Become a Community Partner

Businesses, healthcare professionals and community organizations can collaborate with the Collective through sponsorships, referrals, education and community programming.

Our Impact Is Just Beginning

The Community Collective is new and being built. Support during the postpartum period shouldn’t be available only to families who can easily afford it.

As funding, partnerships and participation grow, we’ll share real results — families supported, care hours funded, workshops offered and community programs created. Until then, this work is just getting started.

Our impact is just beginning.
